Latona is a free spirit, scampering her way across the lands of her home. . . in search of any kind of candy she can get her claws on, yes, but primarily to see everything the world around her has to offer. She desires to discover all there is to find and discover it yet again, brimming with excitement at finding a new undiscovered place and always happy to run through familiar romps.

Her adventures often getting her in a bit more danger than those who look after her are comfortable with, despite her quick wit and blooming ability with magic usually being enough to get her out of any hairy situations. All except for one particular incident when she was young, in the Woodland Path. It was one of her first ventures into the new area, excitedly taking in all the flora and fauna within sight, when she blindly wandered too close the nest of a Wildwood Owl. It was lucky Laliefae and Remus were in the area, able to slay the beast with relative ease and collect the young Skydancer back to their lair.

She left the incident with not only her life, but a lesson and a secondary goal as well: Keep your eyes on the skies as well as the ground, and that if she gains enough strength and battle-skill, her passion for discovery can go unhindered.

Latona's exploration and observation skills lead to her quickly becoming the best hunter of her clan, quickly surpassing Laliefae. Her knack for finding trinkets and other materials led to Remus's time now more directed toward his sewing and his family - which Latona is now part of. Beetle's stern attitude is off-putting for her, especially with him enforcing curfew. However, she knows he has a soft spot - she's seen it when he's with Cali - his flustered body language is a real treat, but she still is learning how to live with him.
