Descript1 | Descript2 | Descript3 An oulaw that met misfortune by attempting to steal from the troupe, kept around for the entertainment of those mocking dragons that run this shady business. Although he might be exaggerating, he could be in a worse situation. Possibly. 'Mouse' as he is called now was a small time thief, his size allowing him to pick-pocket with ease and make a run for it. He was living his best life if he was being honest, the thrill of theft filling his small form with joy and the avoidance of consequences was the extra that kept him going. Sure he had earned bounties on his more daring moves but that was easy to skip around, just make the run to the newest place and lay low. Rinse and repeat!. It just happened to be bad luck, being at the wrong place and the wrong time and all that. One minute he was making the rounds on these new fellas setting stores by, picking odd bits and stray pieces as a warm up and then he was being thrown into an old cage by some manic wildclaw and his bug eyed friend or whatever that was. This wasn't his first time getting caught, he just needed a chance to fiddle the lock out and fly for the exit... but the wildclaw wouldn't go away! Yeekaya, as the wildclaw introduced as, was just there, staring at him like he was some pretty trinket for display. The fae was not so good in his intimidation skills despite his experience with enforcements, so trying to force an aura of confidence felt futile by the third hour of being captured, this other dragon was just not giving him the chance; so he opted for a talk, maybe bore this rando and flee. But Yeekaya turned out to be just too chitchatty. How the fae managed to stay awake -and even worse, interested- for the whole monologue still surprises him to this day. Never the matter, the night would have to be the chance... Yeekaya was kind enough to spare a meal later that day and the fae was grateful for not getting poisoned straight up to get rid of -why he was fearing that in the first place evades him- As the sun settled for the day, so were the newly arrived merchants, and from the receding noises from outside the fae could deduce they would be setting in for the night, it was just a matter of waiting for his captor to fall asleep sooner or later. The wildclaw hadn't moved much for a while -eyes hopefully closed behind the bonemask the fae had failed to notice all day-, upsettlingly, his body was coiled around the cage obstructing the potential exits. The fae thought this the best chance to escape and, with careful maneuvers and the advantage of small bones, made a silent break out. In the mere moment he was readying to fly off, a clawed had pulled him back from the tail and threw him over his back with force, obliging the fae to stare up at the weird bubbly dragon that had kept him captive for a whole day and see another thing entirely; maybe it was the adrenaline still fueling him and playing things up for the sake of survival but seeing the hostility in Yeekaya's eyes shut him physically, the wildclaw basically throwing him around by the tail like a cat's toy, taunting lyrics spilling from the dragon's mouth Well what's this? I've seen that you are not comfortable here, and even if you dared to sing I just won't let you leave. It was mortal, vicious and worse of all, it was mocking. So much for a daring escape. After the ragging was done, the fae was thrown back into the cage. How he was even still alive was nothing short of a miracle, what was not so fortunate was that damned wildclaw still awake like nothinghad happened, staring back once again until a smile broke through his mouth, words falling with innocence and care the fae refuses to accept to this day, "I think your name should be... Mouse!"
