Biography
Marcel began his life in the Tangled Wood as part of the Shadow flight. The young Fae did not particularly enjoy the tricks and games so frequently played there. Guided by his curiosity, he would instead explore the many areas of his home until one day he came across a strange dragon in Wispwillow Grove. He began to pursue it, but it fled, dropping a scroll. Marcel snatched the trinket from the ground and tried in vain to find the interloper, but it was clear that they had long gone.
Marcel opened the strange scroll and saw that it was a map of the world. Near the bottom was a strange green symbol - two lines that curled playfully at the ends. He looked above him and saw a multitude of stars shining brilliantly above. He stretched his wings and made his way to the next region.
The Fae had traveled far and wide. He had seen the beauty of the world and, particularly after his stay in the archives of the Starfall Isles, had become quite well-read. The natural tact of the Shadow flight and his humble stance mixed well with his experiences, creating a noble air about him.
One day he came upon a region of cliffs and reeds. It soon became clear to him that this was the region of origin of the strange symbol. Marcel had started to settle down for a nap when a sky coloured dragon landed beside him.
"If you want, you're welcome to stay with my clan. There are only a few of us, but it's cozy."
He entered the small lair and saw a few more Fae surrounded by a small crowd of hatchlings. One of them looked up briefly from feeding a black Imperial baby.
"Hello there! Wanna give me a hand?" After the hatchlings had been taken care of, Marcel was introduced to Nora and Clovis. Deciding to rest from his travels for a while, he helped the two around the lair and ended up staying longer than he anticipated. Eyeing the two strong-looking Mirrors, now almost fully grown, he took it upon himself to train them. As the Clan grew bigger, he took to scouring the lands for anything that they might need. When the day came to distribute the tasks amongst them, Marcel became the captain of the scouting team.
Looking at his new family he marveled at the happiness he had found through his travels. He smiled, deciding at last that he had found a place where he belonged.
