B I O G R A P H Y

Long ago, the divine and glorious Lightweaver created a beautiful race of dragons.
The Imperials.
Everything about them was perfect.
They had, and still have, no flaws.
Heretics and naysayers poisoned our kind Mother's mind, and she was forced to abandon us.
In her loneliness, she created another race.
Subdued.
Restrained.
Pathetic.
Now all her love and attention goes to them.
Imperials were first, and are still the most worthy of Mother's warm gaze!
Maybe we are not enough apart, but together we will birth a child so perfect; an embodiment of pure blinding Light, that Mother will be forced to look upon us with favour again!

He was dying.

It was the painful truth as he lay there one the ground, his brothers next to him. They were triplets, a happy cluster of three, or at least they should have been. According to his parents they were failures, like all the other who didn't get blessed by the Lightweaver. So, they were exiled, unworthy of the shelter nd security of a home. Now, they were dying, unloved and as failures. He look one last breath in before closing his eyes for the final time.

A light suddenly filled was behind his eyelid, calling to him. He opened his eyes, it felt like they had been sealed shut for a while. Did't I die? He thought, lifting his massive head, his neck not use to the weight. How long have I been laying here. As he lifted his head, so did his brothers. All of them were confused, how were they moving? He went to lift a foot, it was encased in earth. However, he eventually managed to pull it out. That's when they discovered what had happened. They had died, and the legends they had heard were true, the legends and warning about burning imperials away from each other.

The three were fused to one body, three tails flicked, three sets of wings were on his back. They had been awoken from the dirt somehow, they had been given another chance at life, they were an emperor. A smile crossed his face, surely this was the lightweaver's doing. A blessing sent from her so the three could live once more.

____He surveyed the land where he had woken from, only to discover that it was unfamiliar. "This... isn't where we were before." He said, a bit confused. His brothers murmured in agreement, looking around the landscape. They were near a forest, lush green grass surrounded them. Towering pink mountains were in the horison, and above them...

____Islands, thousands of them. Floating chunks of land floated in the sky, some much larger than others. It also seemed like the land around them was slowly inching upward, it was magical in a way. He stomped his foot to get his brother's attention, it sent waves through the ground. They opened their wings and began flapping. It didn't work, their wings were tattered, although it was strange. They had woken up in nearly perfect condition, why were their wings damaged? He snorted, brushing it off, and began journeying across the landscape.
