The look on his tribe's face as they pulled up with chrome cars, their engines roaring in a life they only hoped to hear one day. Obviously this faction was better off and thus they traded him for supplies, his Dame and Father claiming it would be better for him to go on and survive rather than suffer out here. He remembers sometimes, when he dreams, a blurry image of his Dame and Father, waving their final goodbye.

Fumes loyalty is to the Immortan, 100%, but he does not fall over himself in the worship of Badar for he knew the man before he was a God.

Fumes was reaching the peak of his half life when the first real accident happened. He was too close to the engine and burned the tips of his wings to smolders. It didn't ground him, but made flying too difficult. Coming to terms that he was getting too old, he sought out someone to carry on his knowledge. Fumes will gladly share the story of the day he recognized Gunk and raised her from a lowly Warboy. Tiny thing she was, covered in head to toe with gunk from the engines. The star struck look in her eyes as he acknowledged her and claimed she was to be his apprentice. The poor little thing ran herself ragged from her own excitement, sometimes falling asleep ontop of the cooled engines of the V8's as she worked long into the night as to impress him the next morning. As she grew, as did he. Sometimes he feels bad for picking her, hating to see the sadness in her eyes as he teaches her what he knows so that way when he dies she will know how to keep the engines going. But Gunk is a smart Warboy and he is proud of her and their accomplishments.
