Depending on who you ask, Rex is either a scheming hack or an intuitive genius. Rex himself would descibe himself as a performace artist and part time therapist. He uses no future sight to tell someone their fortunes, but instead senses their personality thru small changes in their speech and movement. He uses these intuitions to try and guide dragons past their issues.

Rex actually studied psychology in a light domain institution before he decided to try and be a therapist. He found it difficult to get dragons to go to therapy, so he became a fortune teller to try and see more of the world. Some dragons, when they learn they're not meeting a true fortune teller, get upset, so he keeps it to himself.

When Rex visited the crosswinds kingdom, he met Voleta. Voleta, impressed with his therapy sessions disguised as fortune telling, decided to introduce some of her friends to Rex and the rest of Wintermoon's troupe. There Rex met Greenrose. He was instantly smitten with the quiet bogsneak. The members of the troupe were so loud and rowdy, but Greenrose kept to himself and stayed in his own thoughts. Rex began to spend more time around the greenhouse and the two slowly fell in love. Rex carries around flowers grown in the greenhouse for him.

Rex loves strange foods, especially spicy food. He enjoys trying new things. Rex will often try to engage others in conversation, even total strangers. Rex likes nighttime more than daytime, so he will spend most of the day snoozing. He values having many casual friends over a few close friends. He doesn't like fae because their monotone voices and still faces are hard to understand.
