Note) DaiShan and Koa are more Maori in culture. I would like skills like fire knife dancing (Samoan) and tititorea be a Maknai Haven thing and the Haka a Dai Shan/Koa thing. Just how is that supposed to work? It is reserved for battles to intimidate unfriendly, shadow tainted beast clans or for ceremonies where no strangers are present. Same with knife dancing. Very seldom will an outsider see either of these nor are they talked about much when others are around. Lets face it, this is a friendly clan and if they greeted all strangers in the Maori way it would scare off everyone including potential clients. Also, I want this to be a new, introduced piece of culture. Arrogant : Proud. Admires anyone who is Warlike. One day, for lack of anything better to do, he joined a group led by their leader to collect a emissary from the Water Flight. He'd never seen much of their territory, and it'd give him an excuse to stretch his wings. As they touched down on a sandy strip of land, he caught sight of an adorable tundra, her wings sparkling in the sunshine. Wait - adorable? DaiShan shook his head aggressively. The heat must be getting to his head. Besides, once she started talking, he could see they were two very different dragons - she was easygoing and chatty and made him feel too big and awkward. But there was something undeniably special about her, and something that made him feel special, too. Maybe it was time he admitted to himself that he had a huge crush on her. "Koa, I have ended my search at a place called Makani Haven. You can find it on the edge of the Windswept Plateau where wind, fire and sea meet. You should try coming here during your Search. I have found a place I think you will find interesting.

"DAI SHAAANNNNN! He's Coming!!!!" getting yelled over and over at the top of Tigger's lungs stopped his sparring practice as the coatl came to a bounding stop a little ways away. At least he had enough sense to stay out of the way of 2 fighting dragons. "Who's coming?" snarled Dai Shan, irritated over the interruption. "KOA! You had the lookouts keeping special watch for a black guardian marbled blue and red. Pendragon saw him coming and has gone to spread the word to the rest of the lair." Dai Shan was already on his way out of the clearing when he shouted back to Tigger "Get Yin and tell her to round up everyone cliff-side for The Greeting!" He couldn't wait to see Koa's face when the lair greeted him properly. Some traditions were priceless and Koa deserved the respect. (See Koa's bio if you want to read more) |
