Tarolou

Veilspuns of this mighty clan are well-known to keep their distance from other clan members, including other ancient dragons, preferring the company of their own more feral kin over the strange newness that is more civilized dragons.

Tarolou is the newest stray veilspun joining the offshoot tribe: she was found going into torpor on the ice floes near the edge of the tundra, having fled from the shadow flight's Tangled Wood and through the Ashfall Waste. Entodon saw her sleeping body in one of her herbal visions, and lead a small exploratory troupe out to rescue her.

She, unlike most of the veilspuns of the tribe, does not emote or speak as openly, and stays quiet and watchful. She is not shy however, and her actions always speak louder than her hisses or her barks. Tarolou is strong and self-directed: instead of give up on an idea or plan when it is not backed up by the tribe, like others might, she just does it herself. In fact, if she was kicked out of the tribe, she would probably continue to survive and thrive on her own. She is skilled with dark war magic, using crippling necrotic energy and shadow to obscure her movements. Because of this she has become fast friends with the equally silent and mysterious Amonadil, who also uses silence, stoicism, and stealth to her advantage.

This is a trait that the leader of the veilspun tribe, Tsuteran, finds extremely attractive. As time goes on he will attempt to court her, only to find her much less receptive and much less in awe of him as the other veilspuns are.
