Terreskara's hide ripples with hypnotic patterns that itch and sting, and sparkles even in the dark. She at least can admire the prettiness as she patrols the clan, restless for danger.

Greenskeeper Gathering has seen Terreskara withdrawn and irritable. She has taken several trips into Nature, ostensibly to gather flatleaves and look for buried chests, but mostly to brood in the deep jungles.

Terreskara is a loosely-affiliated member of Cindercone Clan with a temporary independent lair in the forested border mountains between Lightning and Fire. There she can generally be found, brooding like a huge fiendcat. Driven to the edge of madness by the need to guard a Charge that has cast her out, she is rarely good company—though in truth, she would prefer to be closer to them if she could control her black mood.

During the clan's days in the Plague/Shadow border, Terreskara was a formidable sellclaw. Now that Cindercone Clan has returned to Fire, she is primarily self-supporting, but serves as a fisher when the currents bring large numbers of schooling fish close to the Blacksand Shore, and occasionally helps advise when setting up or improving the clan's shrines to Flamecaller.

Terreskara is too withdrawn to have any close friends, though Spearmint and Glynn appreciate her assistance with fishing, and Liglanaerr highly values her worth as a sellclaw if Rogue's Camp activities can be achieved again.

Charge
Few know of Terreskara's Charge, and many suspect it was destroyed or lost long ago. In truth, however, the Search led her to a city not far from Cindercone's borders in the tumult of the Molten Scar. The city, however, jeered and cast her out, feeling no need for a guardian's oversight. Yet her instincts do not let her abandon them even now—so she broods, and grows bitter.

Craft
Terreskara is a skillful metalworker, and regularly drops off tools and decorations she has made in exchange for more raw materials. She has a preference for the bolted-in jewelry and armor favored by thick-skinned dragons like guardians and snappers, and often uses heat-treatment or anodization to imbue her works with a colorful sheen.

Physical description
Terreskara is long and lean, with short, pointed wings and scant natural armor. The venom-colored markings on her body seem to flash and pulse, though whether this is some actual photophore effect or merely an optical illusion is unclear. She has a fluid, slinking grace on the ground and is an accomplished, elegant swimmer. Her flight is fast, direct, and without agility. She has a short beard, possibly due to tundra ancestry or a hormonal imbalance, and a small tuft of fur at the end of her tail. Her scent is wild and green with a smoky undertone, like a stretch of jungle on fire.

Combat
Fluid and graceful in combat, Terreskara strikes quickly and fades away without giving opponents an opening. She is fairly strong, but her comparative lack of shielding makes her quick to wear out in the face of similarly massive opponents. She generally fights, when possibly, alongside the privateer Haolurren and the savage Akantha.

Origin
Terreskara slunk into the Rogue's Camp one night with no past, aside from some low-level skirmishes, and no future. Liglanaerr convinced her to work for hire instead of setting up at the Wanderer's Rest to drink her life away. Since then, Terreskara has become a trusted lieutenant to the Rogue's Camp's endeavors.

Familiar

The black-wing hummingbird is a gift from Liglanaerr, product of a long con of siphoning off white-eared hummingbirds from Cindercone Clan's sales offers. The bird, the size of a skydancer, serves as an extra set of eyes and ears. Now Awakened, Taalrs has proved a wily tactician, though the fact that he communicates solely in images instead of words has made him difficult to understand at times.
