═════════════════════════════════════════════ Euphoria ; a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness. ═════════════════════════════════════════════ Euphoria has regularly been one to eavesdrop. She's never meant it, but strangely enough, she's always been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Almost humorously, whenever she went out of her way to avoid hearing people's conversations, Euphoria would end up walking into something else she wasn't supposed to see. Over time, the skydancer learned that knowledge was power, and found herself doing spying jobs for people. Her natural stealth made it easy to sneak by and be undetected by unsuspecting dragons. Each job gave her more respect, and Euphoria found herself becoming a proper spymaster. It wasn't long until she was scouted by a war-clan in search of their own scout. Her bright personality doesn't seem useful for a usually quiet job, but Euphoria becomes as focused as a snake during each assignment. Of course, some jobs couldn't be done by one dragon without backup. So, Tir hired Euphoria her own personal bodyguard, much to her annoyance. Why would a spymaster need an escort, it'd be embarrassing! Meteora, her name was, never took the time to talk to Euphoria, only keeping her distance at all times (literally). Whenever Euphoria was on a mission, Meteora would be flying several feet behind her. Ironically, it was like the spymaster was being spied on while spying on someone else! Coupled with Meteora's unnatural silence, it made for some creepy night-jobs, which Euphoria had enjoyed previously. As much as Euphoria hated being watched, she didn't not need Meteora, as the fellow skydancer would save her time and time again from threats or the attacks of rival spies. Whereas Meteora was prone to not notice Euphoria's feelings, Euphoria herself was noticing how much she really needed someone like Meteora with her. No matter how much the spymaster was starting to appreciate her guard, it still hurt her rather big ego to finally admit she was warming up to her "stalker". Her caring attitude didn't help her dilemma one bit since she always tried thanking Meteora for helping her; all Euphoria would get in return was the normal nods or an "are you okay?" here and there. Feeling like Meteora was selling herself short, Euphoria lashed out at her bodyguard one night after a rather stressful job. In spite of her emotional turmoil, Euphoria couldn't bring herself to ask for a replacement guard. Meteora didn't understand why she wasn't switched out but started to walk closer during missions, or simply talk to her...friend. "I've made a living watching others from afar. Their happiness, their anger, their grief. It's so hard not to relate to them without making myself known. I don't want you to hide from me, Meteora! Please, protect me by getting to know me and by actually talking to me! You can help me by staying right next to me. I'll be your euphoria, you'll be my guardian, how does that sound?" ═════════════════════════════════════════════
