Kouha comes from a rich bloodline of Voodoo masters, for centuries voodoo magic has been passed down. Because the dolls are so dangerous his family has a strict rule "you may only sell these to a certified hitman in exchange for great amounts of treasure or if someone higher up for you asks for your aid you must not decline"
He decided to branch off to Arcane in hopes of improving his knowledge of magic to make voodoo magic even more powerful to pass on to the next generation. so he mostly spends his time making dolls and studying magic. He comes off as a jerk because hes always with Hakuei who likes to start fights with others. But he actually is very kind and will even apologize for Hakuei's behaviour when shes not around. He often has dark circles around his eyes because hes so passionate about perfecting his dolls that he forgets about sleeping and finds himself collapsing on the couch at wee hours of the morning.
