The royal life that would be seen for princess Zadie wasn't at all near that. She lived in the outer skirts of the kingdom along with some siblings and her mother who spoke in few words of the reason why they lived not in the palace walls. There was no duties or rules to uphold as a royal family member. For Zadie all she knew was to call her mother Dani because that was she wanted her to be known as. The little guidance that took a toll for her growth and childhood was likely a detriment towards who she would become as an adult. Inside her home was a run down shelter with no hint of shine or beauty. As for being royal bloodline didn't matter for the time and the only thing important was surviving off the land. Eventually her mother expressed the frustrations and pains of restrictions and dreamed of freedom from the family business called duties to keep in power. Perhaps there was any change that could've been done didnt come in fruition. The obligations for Zadie were of stealing anything that would keep the family floating from suffering worse consequences. She had little choice, but to survive until in her early teen years things changed. The one event during one of those years shifted who she became of today.
It was like any normal day, but requested to Dani of breaking into the palace which held values that would help the family's needs. Her mother refused at first, but then accepted under one condition which was to hide and run if the plan went south. Xadie agreed preparing herself for the biggest heist she had ever done. As they were halfway in the process of picklocking the door the air was still without an echo of noise. Afterall it was the yearly festival celebrated at the palace.
The sudden plead for help came from one of the sisters who almost broke their cover continuing the task at hand. The heist was successful, but the way home was the hardest. Zadie went ahead for cover while behind Dani kept the others close. A sudden ambush from a blind spot evolved into combat.
Zadie took some damage to someone looking for the others as sounds of pleads filled the air. One by one her sisters fell to the ground with little time to react. Then from behind restraints wrapped around her wrist swiftly as she struggled until blacking out for a short time then reawakening with seeing her mother defending herself onto somebody until a loud gunshot reverberated the air. Zadie screamed watching as her now lifeless mother fell to the ground. She twisted and turned until draining all her energy falling nearly limp. Her head dipped letting whoever drag her to their destination.
Not long she opened her eyes to see guards and strangers staring at her along with one of them holding the dagger. Zadie didn't utter any words until one asked to have her hand it to them. The elegant suit the man wore was an indicator of likely being a member to the royal family. Zadie out of exhaustion fainted reawakening in a new setting along with a man who began explaining what would happen to her in the following months which would end up into adulthood. She had really no choice to return to her previous life. Also Zadie learned that her mother killer was a guard who missed a shot showed little forgiveness. Still she despised of it, but her new interest was getting to know one of her royal uncles Alexandrian who she took a liking towards after their first meeting. Although she had her own demons to manage Alex had much worse problems as she learned overtime.

He was a highly respected commander now, but during his younger times when Zadie first encountered him she became his shoulder to lean on. However she didn't see it coming in the beginning until catching him doing wrongful acts she knew all to well. She though took action to pull him out of trouble as she was previously a well rounded criminal herself and didn't want to see another individual to fall into the same unfortunate fate. Zadie had known very well what the consequences would inflict onto him. Did she care if he fell into a hole that would be irreparable? Or to not let another individual suffer her same wrongful past mistakes?
Zadie gradually accepted being around Alex's cold personality as the years passed by. There was no mystery as both had gotten along well enough to reveal about one another's dark past's or their struggles. Zadie chose the path similar to Alex, but using her time abilities ontop of expanding her pick pocketing skills as she would still take out the ones who were the true threats to the ones that were innocent. As for only a few years went by and Alexandrian would become her mentor in the art of war once he accepted the title of commander. Zadie hadn't showed a glimmer of happiness in a long time opening up to the family she once knew to be the enemy never to trust.
