Ohqidej.png 		Years ago, deep within the Great Furnace, a roar bubbled up from the magma. With a slpash, a violet claw tore from the surface. Breathless and confused, a large jewel colored gaurdian clambered out of the magma. She cried out to the empty caverns desperate for some kind of explanation to her sudden existence. From the depths, a voice rumbled out. It seemed to come from the very stone and flame itself, comforting and warm but with an edge of something terrifying underneath. "You are called Norn, little gaurdian. It is your purpose to protect and to love. It is a great burden to bear but it is what you must do, without this your purpose will be null." The Flamecaller's voice echoed. "Go forth, little gaurdian, you will find your footing in time... should the fates allow it."

Now given a name and a purpose by her creator, the dragon called Norn stepped forth into the Wastes.

The world that Norn was greeted by was not what she was expecting. Naive and lonely she wandered through the ash. During her travels she met many interesting dragons and other creatures. Most dragons she came across were kind to her and helped her find her way in this strange new world, some, however, were overwhelmingly gruff and uninterested in what the strange young gaurdian had to say. She made friends, enemies, lovers, but still she felt disconnected.

Norn travelled endlessly for years, until one day she came upon a beautiful valley, an oasis in the Wastes. Finally, the purpose given to her by the fates would be realized.
