Backstory: Born to the inbound element of Wind, Sapphirestorm has always been even more mischievous than expected even among the wind clans. He heard the tales of Shadowbinder and the Tanged Woods as a hatchling, and he dreamed of being a shadow trickster. It was a long flight from the Aergate to to the Woods, but once he saw the darkness for himself, he knew this was the flight he belonged to. He was particularly entranced with the glow of Wispwillow Grove and was content to live by himself in the darkness, honing the skills of his trade. His solitude would not last, however, as he was found by the stalwart Stardust. The Snapper was keen on finding both friends and allies for his clan, so he brought the glimmering assassin back to meet Ashbringer and Tigerqueen. Sapphire was fascinated by the lifestyle of these shadow dragons - they were more like his original wind clan than the tricksters he craved, however the quiet had grown stale and he was ready for some new company. His erratic nature and inability to stay still would make it seem like he would be a poor assassin, but his clever mind is always plotting of new ways to stave off threats from his new clan and flaxen mate, Goldeneye.

Personality: Erratic; slightly unhinged; brusque; oddly loyal, but cannot be taken at face value; highly supportive of Goldie's desire to dance
