NIGHTMARE Cryptid | Terror | Maiden
A maiden of shadow that was warped by the things she has seen since her birth. The sight of her staring from the darkness can inspire a deep terror and she specializes in magics that inflict horrors upon the mind. In actuality, Nightmare plays the part of den mother to the Cryptids and has been given the task of conferring a dark blessing upon all of the children. Oracle may be the one to name them, Zombie the one to save them, but Nightmare is the one who gives them to power to rise. 		Item-3.png
wing2left.png When she isn't heralding the arrival of The Claimer, Nightmare can be seen with either a gaggle of excited hatchlings or secretly humming to a dark scaled Nocturne hatchling that she simply calls Him. She is the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone. She is the terror of a mother, a daughter, and all from the lowest born to the most gilded noble. And none escape her. wing2right.png
OHDEATH Lover
Her mate he may be but not even Nightmare can comprehend the depression that infects so much of The Claimer. She tries to be there when he is especially infected with melancholy, craddling him against her belly in his guise as a hatchling so she may offer sanctuary. 		68250902.png

The leader of the Cryptids, a rather distant dragon that only associates with others when he is telling some new tale meant to terrify. He takes no specific interest in hatchlings until they prove themselves exceptional in some capacity. Though he can be seen instigating some new prank.
