B I O G R A P H Y


______ Avon is an exceptionally skilled maker of all types of jewelry, though he specializes in intricate metalwork with set gems. He's a merchant, traveling to buy materials and sell his creations. Avon once had a mate and three handsome sons, but he rarely speaks of them and gets touchy around the subject.

______ He buys passage on the ship with the riches he makes from his work. He gives the crew a total 10% and the captain and quartermaster 5% each- and Avon makes a lot of money. The crew of the Flying Featherback are quite fond of him for this reason. He often makes up a large chunk of their income. For these reasons they put up with his rather melancholy attitude and aura of sadness. The crew is also rather protective of him, and after some incidents, there's always someone accompanying him when he goes onto land to buy, sell, and trade. They call it 'babysitting' and gripe about it when it's their turn, but it's all done in good fun. Avon doesn't let them see, but it does make him smile, sometimes.
