The Guide

She woke admist silence. Fog drifted in and out of view. The only tangable figure was a fading vision in and out of view. The imperial stared on at her as she came to her senses.
"Where am I?"
"You are nowhere, and everywhere all at once." The figure spoke.
"What are we doing here?"
"We're doing the best we can," The dragon's name was Remington.
She was lost in a horrific fight. Her past only a distant memory. Remington told her that she was guide now. He seemed genuinely happy to have the company. Shadowbinder had chosen her to aide him with the lost souls among the plaguelands, guiding them somewhere safe.
The two of them rarely both show their forms to outsiders. You will only get a glimpse if one stares close enough. Other than that, candles and floating lanterns are all that guides you on through the darkness.
You will never get a straight answer out of either them.
