Your awestruck admiration of the scenery is cut short by the realisation that you're not quite as alone as you first thought! A great shadow announces the presence of a much larger predator descending upon your position.

The powerful gusts of wind stirred by her giant wingbeats almost blow you back down from whence you came, but thankfully you manage to keep your footing - and thank goodness for that, you think, the fall may very well have killed you! The newcomer eyes you speculatively, but with an almost grudging respect. You get the strong feeling that her hazardous landing hadn't been at all accidental.

"We don't see many outsiders these days," she says, in way of greeting.

As you scramble to think of a reply, something small darts out from beneath the beast’s colossal wing and circles you. Quick as it is, you can barely keep track of it, but deduce it to be some kind of sprite.
