Biography
Midrise, ██ of ████, year ███
I still cannot begin to explain what happened two weeks ago, but I must document it.
At Lowrise of ██, ████, year ███, a legion of dragons and strange creatures flooded from the eastern portion of the Sunbeam ruins, placed between the Grand Sundial and the Beacon Of The Radiant Eye, where the grand Lightweaver sits, watching the seas, heading westward toward the Hewn City
They matched on the City, undeterred by its darkness, and... then the shadow rose.
An ocean of creatures as black as the night itself rose from the swirling shade of the city, led by three bright creatures of larger size. The two forces met like the crash of dawn, and... An obelisk, I think, patterned with stars, attempted to attack one of the bright creatures, and... I...
...
And was... Intercepted by a creature, shaped like an imperial, but... many times the size of even the largest one. It was grey, shaded like cold ash, and... It killed the obelisk. I don't
I don't think I've ever seen so much blood in my life.
It seized the obelisk like a toy and hurled them like so much garbage, pursuing them through the city like an animal to be killed. I... believe this confrontation will haunt my nightmares forever.
It was so quiet, too. The conflict. It was like the darkness of the City had wrapped it's claws around the very reality around it, quieting the conflict to nothing but a whisper. I... I don't think anyone but myself knows about this. I was the only dragon present uninvolved with the conflict, and... all of those dragons that had been part of it are dead or.... enveloped by the black swarm. The creatures were seemingly taken over, turning on the dragons they had been working with merely seconds before.
I...
I can't stop dreaming about the city, though. It scares me, but... something deep in it's crumbling walls calls to me.
I fear this may be my last journal entry in my right mind.
To my family, friends, and companions... I apologize.
