Mistletoe is a dragon of simple needs. As long as he has some food, shelter, and a little love and attention from other clan members, he is content.
Hatching from an empty nest, far out in the ocean cliffsides of the Ashfall Waste, Mistletoe spent the first few years of his life alone and nervously fending for himself. He happened upon Cygnus when he was foraging in the Emberglow Hearth, and being mistaken for a large salamander, found himself pinned down with her fangs digging into his neck.
Despite having zero apology for nearly being eaten, and being chased away over and over again by the frustrated and fiercely independent mirror dragon, Mistletoe was far too lonely to let the opportunity for a friend disappear. After a week of trailing her, badly hiding amongst the barren rocks, Cygnus begrudgingly gave in and let him follow as she hunted for a perfect lair of her own. Mistletoe didn't even mind the threats of murder and maiming discourage him, he was just happy for someone to protect him.

Since the Magmanolia clan began to grow, Mistletoe didn't want much of a prominent role. He was more than fine hiding in the background while the other stronger dragons take care of the harder tasks. Instead, he made himself useful as the clan caretaker, making sure everyone is comfortable and things are tidy. Despite being in such a strong and aggressive clan, he is one of the most timid and nervous creatures Cygnus has ever met. Even still, she just cant find it in herself to throw him out. Maybe she pities him, maybe he makes really good tea. Either way, Mistletoe isn't going anywhere, and he is the only one Cygnus trusts with all her secrets.
