Charous, with her warm persona and excitable nature rivaling that of a spiral's, is frequently described as "bubbly", "cheerful", and "intolerably clingy". And indeed, she has an unconscious fondness of making physical contact with whomever she happens to be speaking to, often demanding piggy-back rides from her larger clanmates whenever she tires of walking or snuggling with dragons that appear to be having a bad day. Her actions often have a subtle effect on others' moods, easing the ache of painful memories or bringing a smile upon the most stoic of dragons.

Despite her extroverted personality and her natural talent and grace that shows in her movements, Charous is quite shy about about her dancing, a modesty that borders on stage fright. Even with the praise and support of her clanmates, she becomes rather embarrassed whenever someone asks her to perform, though her dances are agreed to be well worth the effort it takes to convince her.
