Beatrice is the daughter of the clan matriarch of her birth clan, and she inherited her stable, unwavering mind from her mother. Beatrice knew from a young age she wouldn't stay with her mother's clan and when Isabella and Imogen stated they were leaving, Beatrice quickly decided to join them. The three young friends enjoyed travelling together when they stopped by a conflicted female mirror and decided to stay the night in her lair. None of them had planned to stay any longer, but one night turned into a week, then a month and slowly they came to realize they might just as well stay indefinitely. New members started to join the little clan and soon a white Skydancer, Ariel, showed up together with a dark and very aggressive young imperial.

Beatrice wasn't actually looking for a ward at the time and she certainly didn't fancy the idea of taking an angry imperial under her wing. She was going to leave and find her ward, a worthy young dragon with great potential, somewhere else. Perhaps a hardworking youngling from the shifting expanse, or an energetic young dragon from the windswept plateau. Not a mute, crazy imperial that bit everyone and everything that came within reach of his sharp teeth. But destiny wanted differently. Oberon, the little imperial, needed help and in the small clan, only Beatrice was big and strong enough to take him on. The little imperial resisted at first, fighting his new mentor with all his angry young might, but Beatrice was having none of it and he quickly learned that trying to bite Beatrice was a very bad idea. She relentlessly drilled the aggressive imperial in the art of combat to let him have an outlet for his anger, and slowly she managed to turn him from a hissing mess to a formidable warrior.

These days, Beatrice and Oberon is a nearly unbeatable team. Beatrice provides the calm, steady strategy and logic to Oberon's berserk anger and the two trusts eachother completely on the battlefield and off it. Beatrice has settled down entirely in the clan now, happy with her ward after all and happy for the opportunity of verbal sparring matches with her mate Benedick. She is a no-nonsense kind of lady and woe the hatchling that doesn't keep quiet and listen when she tells them to. But she is also very protective of her clan, and even the grown dragons are known to snuggler in under Beatrice's large, protective wings during especially stormy nights.
