Biography
A young bogsneak who loves to play around in the Grove. Zaurac has a strong connection to the place and feels very safe there. She's an orphan, hatched from an egg that was left behind in the Grove and found by a centaur couple from the village. They took care of it until Zaurac hatched, after which they looked for suitable caretakers among the dragon residents of the town. Zaurac still visits them sometimes and likes to play with their young daughter.
Zaurac was adopted by Arsenic in the end. The former pirate took to the little bogsneak, who shares her love of the ocean. She's a hands-off type of parent, but she's always close by and keeps an eye on her. Omen looks after Zaurac at times as well.
Zaurac has eerie prophetic abilities but can't control them yet. Whenever she's in the sea she's shown visions of possible future events.
Zaurac has made fast friends with the older Zephyra, the two being the only children in the small village together with the centaur Desiree. The three often explore the forest together. Zephyra is brash and tends to decide on activities, confident in her magical prowess to protect them from danger. Desiree is a realist and something of a worry-wart, though her cleverness and alertness have saved the other two plenty of times. Zaurac is the most shy and quiet of the group. She's very caring even if she's the youngest and let's her prophetic abilities guide them to new adventures. For some reason the creatures of the Grove don't bother her, allowing her and her friends to play in the woods safely.
