Biography
Thank you to Saraibre and the followers of the Arcane flight for this amazing gift and memorial. I will never forget you all for this act of pure kindness...
"Once in another world, there was a cat. This cat was normal looking to any other, but to a great female warrior, she was the best companion anyone could have. Her dark furry self, had just tiny bits of brown underneath, and under that, was the spirit of a great leopard. Kept in the abode of the great warrior, she was loved and taken care of the best she could, despite what hardships came of the warrior. Battles with beasts of burden and thieving fates of ill will often struck the warrior, coming back with little in return some nights. The feline did not draw contempt or disappointment from these events, instead offered comfort with a simple head boop. The magic of that seemed to make the worst fade away.
Then, one day, a terrible phantom came and attacked not the warrior, but her feline companion. It left a terrible mark within the feline of the other world, and at first, nothing was thought much of it. As time went on, it became clear that the warrior’s companion was falling ill, despite her efforts to stay in the best spirits. The phantom had let a horrible curse on the cat though, causing her to fall down the tallest of cliffs, become paralyzed in her mind, and forcing objects to appear right before her line of sight.
However… the objects were things that had already been there… the paralysis was of her own brain… and the cliffs were only stairs…
The pillaging of the fates, and the terrible fortune of the warrior struck when she was at her worst. Those who were thought to be allies, turned against her in times of absolute need. Monsters shut her out of help, but she sent many letters in the hands of carriers, asking for anyone to help. Those who responded, did not offer much, and the news was grave. Relieving her companion of the curse was looking grimmer by the day. Then, one night, the curse grew tenfold, for three consecutive nights onwards. The warrior could not bear to see her companion cursed by this anymore. The only way to combat the phantom curse and the pain, was to put her best friend to rest.
She could not bear to watch, but, even though she could not stay for long, what the warrior did not know, was that words resonated to another source from her companion, in order to speak with her.
‘Let it be known, that I do not blame you. You have done your best, and as we cats have more than one life, I will be watching you in another. Though you may not see it, or immediately feel it, I will always be trying to weave between your feet as you walk, so long as I am remembered.’"
