Alchemist


Betan is the clan's resident alchemist, and likes to spend most of her time using her concoctions to help out the other members of the clan, even if her efforts are not always appreciated. They always have enough fresh food to keep everyone fed, but she insists that her weird little "soylent cakes" are a "far more efficient and nutritious." No one really likes them but they eat them anyway since she bothered to cook them up.

Being one of the smallest clan members, she can often be found hitching a ride on the backs of the larger ridgebacks, particularly her mate Bloodskal. Bloodskal's natural arcane magics drew her to him, and they often enjoy going out on "dates" to the more dangerous hunting areas, where Betan takes on the role of healing-mage. She is generally gifted in magical practices, and has strong ties to her wind heritage.
