No one knows how long Dex has been part of the clan. He's been there since the beginning, a bundle of joy and orange scales. Some claim they saw him paddle into camp one day, hugging his Tigerblood Foo at his side. Some say a drop of starlight fell on a nocturne hatchling and granted him with eternal youth. Some say that someone found him while digging out lair space, a hidden ember in the deep. No one knows where he really came from, or how old he really is. All they know, all they see, is a small hatchling, bursting with joy and light, a shining beacon in a hidden city. A friend to all, enemy to none, bringer of light, ray of sun. Never mind the way his scales dull and darken when no one is around, the wicked words that slither from his mouth, the shadows that grow and swirl in his baleful yellow eyes. For everyone believes Dex to be a child, youthful and bright.
