Woodworker

"Mmn... those intricate geometric carvings, all inspired by the Dunhoof. They're quite beautiful aren't they, especially when carved into the richest wood you could only find within our Flight. It's been a privilege to have such a... fine instructor."

A masterful artisan, specialized in creating things out of wood. From beautifully designed furniture, to quality staffs and tools, to sturdy planks and beams, Armon can craft them all out of the bountiful trees that twist about the clan's forested home. His works are often an inspired celebration of Nature, working in the shapes of branches and leaves into many of his designs. Even the smallest trowel handle will have small carvings of leaves and flowers carefully etched into its surface, the markings of a dragon taking great delight in his craft. It's as if the wood making up his works is still alive and blossoming, threatening to take root again if left unused for too long.

He was always a very quiet and aloof individual, quite the polar opposite from his outgoing brother, Newn. He never mingles much within the clan outside of the occasional visit to Newn and his family, content to spend the majority of his time confined to his workshop and losing himself into his craft. So it was rather unexpected when the other artisans slowly began to notice a second face joining him within his shop, after a centaur from the local Dunhoof herd noticed his work while passing through. It seems she had been quite captivated with the artistry in his woodwork, wishing to stick around for a bit to learn from his skills in exchange for her own knowledge in beautifully woven textiles, and to everyone's surprise, the normally unsociable Tundra had agreed to the arrangement. His shop's wares have since begun to include Winona's creations as well, their combined skills making some rather phenomenal pieces of work, from gorgeous furnishings to elegant banners that make the clanspace appear all the more honored and dignified to the Root Sorien watches over. Their talents blended together, it seems they've taken in all there is to learn from each other... and yet curiously with their collaboration seemingly fulfilled, Winona still hasn't gone to return to her herd, and even more curiously, Armon hasn't seemed to say anything about it.

Winona liked to express herself through the things she made, falling into long thoughtful bouts of silence as she melted into her work... much like he did. He supposes that's where it began, the way they bared their souls through their work putting them so completely at ease, until the things they were making began to be geared towards each other. Tiny wooden centaurs he would whittle for her. Angled shapes of Tundras she would weave into her textiles. Until one day she'd found him nervously carving something, and he'd put in her hands two tiny wooden figurines, a Tundra and a centaur, crafted perfectly to where its raised wing could wrap warmly around the other's shoulders...
