Icemaiden

Bonds never melt.

Character
When looking at her, if she is not moving, she is often mistaken to be an ice statue. But then it does not take long to realize ice would certainly have melted in the Ashfall Wastes' furnace-like warmth.

Although many in the lair have led tumultuous lives before joining the clan, Icemaiden's life has been fairly quiet. Born to two parents of identical coloring in the Southern Icefield, Icemaiden was the model daughter, pious, studious and beautiful. Often mistaken for an ice statue when standing still, she had a great amount of admirers and suitors, but inspired by myths of maiden dragons, soon swore to preserve herself and her chastity, to the approval of her parents. She sought solace and peace with her ice sprite, and soon others left her mostly alone.

That's not to say that Icemaiden's possessive of a cold heart, however. She still longed for companionship and understanding, and soon decided to leave her homeland because she had grown to know everyone there and needed a bit of fresh air. She wanted to travel, but not too far where she could no longer intermittently return to visit her mother, who had grown lonely after her father left to serve the Icewarden. This left her with three choices: the Starfall Isles, the Windswept Plateau, and the Ashfall Waste. Icemaiden, enamored by tales she had heard about all three flights, decided to visit the three lands in order, and first, she'd live where everything is the opposite of where she had come from. The dragons of the Ashfall Waste gave her a (literally) extremely warm welcome; her fears that she would lose her beautiful icy feathers abated, and she settled into her new home with a hopeful heart.
