Huatau spread his wings early, coming to the clan mere days before their move to Earth flight as part of an exchange with another allied clan. As the subject of such an exchange he has a high value, and is fully aware of that.

As a warrior he specialises in quick, deadly strikes, taking down opponents with all four limbs and a head full of teeth before they get a chance to mount a defense. He finds the snakes Tahi, Rua, and Toru incredibly annoying, mainly because their fighting style is utterly incomprehensible to him. Huatau is still too young by wildclaw standards to earn a mate in battle, and no matter how large the crush he has still manages to miss the option of romance. He can be very insecure around dragons he likes, as fighting is the only thing he has full confidence in.
