The Galactic Therasid Armada is a powerful force in the realm beyond the Portal. A nation whose populace is trained in military tactics and an unnerving form of combat known as "swarming" from a young age, their strange and unearthly anatomy allows even Fire dragons to crumple under the quite literal pressure of the Armada's force.
Zim is no exception to this rule. Though he's a runt by Therasid- and Sorineth Fae- standards, his imposing air, violent tendencies, and propensity for weapons mark him as a military man, if not an incredibly loud and hyperactive one. Though most find the idea of Zim being otherworldly either insane or glaringly obvious, most of the denizens of Sinner's Bane assume that he, like Cosmo, is just here for a good time and pay him no heed.
None of them know just how much trouble they are in.
Zim was considered a disgrace on Therasid for a very long time. His superiors considered him too destructive and weak to fight any of the Armada's enemies and relegated him to serving coffee and snacks at a cafe for high-ranking Armada warriors- mocking him by putting him in the presence of greatness but leaving it just out of reach. Zim tried again and again to demonstrate his prowess, but again and again he proved too volatile for the Armada to let anywhere they had other troops of their own.
And then they found the Portal.

Zim has been sent to Sorineth to eliminate any and all things that could prevent a hostile takeover from the Armada, a task he was taking to with his standard destructive zeal until he stumbled upon Sinner's Bane. Originally dismissing it as a place of great weakness- senseless indulgence hardly breeds good soldiers- His tune changed quickly upon finding Cosmo.
Another member of the Armada- and a Commander, no less famous for his ruthlessness in battle and incredibly eye for strategy! Zim made quick work of trying to recruit Cosmo back into the Armada, and though he was unsuccessful, he firmly believes that as soon as he gets a firm grasp on Sorineth, Cosmo will come to his senses.
There is only one thing standing in Zim's way- at least in his eyes: Codename Moth, an enigmatic and frankly irritating dragon hellbent on rewiring and dismantling every takeover scheme at Zim's disposal. Though the Armada dismiss him as harmless- "what could a worm do against Armada might anyway?"- Zim has dedicated his time to trying to apprehend Moth, confident that once he gets ahold of him, he can be persuaded to the Armada's point of view with the right brain override technology. For now, though, when not laying a trap for the people of Sorineth or working on his tools, he follows Cosmo's lead- even if the particular vices at play in the Lounge astound him just a little.
N-not that he won't crush this wondrous place too when the time comes for takeover, obviously.
