Iris

With an absent mother and a father who would rather scurry off onto his next research project than take care of her, Iris is a dragon who learned to take care of herself from a young age. She found comfort in the idyllic lives of the protagonists in books, which gave her a strange combination or wariness and running headfirst into the first adventure she can find. While spending her childhood with her snout in a book may have made her more intelligent for her age than average, it also stunted her social skills. Iris would sooner recite the largest tome in her collection by memory then endure social pleasantries that so easily evade her understanding. She has gotten better since meeting Eleos; his childhood surrounded by members of the Guild made him much more extroverted then her.
