Despite having left the cold of the Southern Icefields, the small, and not small ones, need a cuddle on occasion, and a pat on the head. That obviously works better with faes than snappers.

Blanketfort hadn't really been paying attention when the other Stitched members of the clan had been gathered up and had accidentally not declined the position of, well, exactly what he'd been named after. Blanketfort.

Holding a fort did seem like the right kind of charge for him, but that was not quite what he'd envisioned at first. That, and used as he was to the piercing cold he'd have to find some shade before he melted entirely under the combined weight of Light territory temperatures and a heap of Veilspuns. They were light individually but once they'd found a comfortable place to perch, it was a whole other story... Hopefully he wouldn't have to be telling that one, too!

What better place is there than a Dusty attic? Save for the fact that it'll probably scare the less adventurous dragons a bit, but you can't be scared if you have a guardian watching over you, right? (Veilspuns disagree with that statement, but they don't mind because they can perch places to listen to the stories. 'Places' may include less intimidating dragons than Blanketfort himself...)
