- - - Nerys, along with a bit of help from some Shadow and Arcane Territory natives in the clan, is the mastermind and artist behind the Starlight Garden that houses Lyra. Before her arrival, he had always flitted along through life feeling purposeless beyond tending to a small garden for the clan. But now, tasked with creating a large, magnificent home for The Starswept, he feels he's found his calling in life. It seems not a week goes by without him planting more luminescent foliage in the garden, adding more light, life, and color among the darkness.
- - - Besides creating his masterpiece that is the Starlight Garden, he's recently taken another gaoler under his wing to care for and nurture. Belle has become like a younger sister to Nerys, and her frail constitution only makes him more protective of her. Whenever she shows an interest in his work on the garden, he takes it as an opportunity to teach her, hoping one day she will join him in his task of tending to it. The two are practically inseparable, oft spending their free time lounging together among the flowers or keeping Lyra company.
