"The Earthborn are some of Goddess Renee's most fascinating creations to date. Dragonlike imitations which are born from the minerals in the ground and who are capable of many different wonders. This one, in particular, emerged from the ground with an ability to sense gemstones and other precious minerals buried deep within the ground and mountains. They've learned how valuable these treasures are to dragons, which has helped them put this ability of theirs into good use. They travel all throughout the land looking for gems to dig up, which they later polish, cut, and sell to merchants. They've learned that the prettier the gems look the more they are desired, so they take a lot of care in cutting and polishing each gemstone to perfection. Why they take part in trade with dragons I do not know, for in reality, the Earthborn have no reason to interact with dragonkind in such ways. I will admit that I am rather curious to see how this Earthborn's story will unfold." - Aristeia
