The words rang in her brain. She awoke from her slumber. From beneath her cover, she wiped her face with a damp cloth.

She was not the child of gold. But she knew they would come, one day. One day, Equinox would be overthrown. Even the sands bend to the tide, and the sun faded for the moon. She believed in the prophecy. And she hoped for the best.

"Did you receive a prophecy, my friend?" Nathair had asked.

"I have."

"I have a feeling we share the same one." Optimism was in Nathair's voice. "Remember you must wield your prophecy wisely, careful in who you divulge to."

"It seems that the one I must divulge mine to would be most wary." She laughed.

"As was mine. It should bring you comfort to know that it will happen, one day. Stay vigilant until then, dear sage."
