Has a way with words that is... completely unexpected if your first impression of him is seeing him down four cups of tea and trip over his own tail. Or seeing him wobble through the air before making the world's worst five-point landing, the fifth point being his face in the nearby wall. He never learns (he does, he does, he’s a scientist— but his research isn’t this), and he never wants to learn (not these things, not grace and expectations and order). Perpetually exhausted. Falls asleep in the halls much less often than the rest of Nova Arcanum, but on particularly bad days, he's likely to be snoring away in a corner of the lobby. As of late, he's had a lot more bad days. Probably due to that contract Nova Arcanum's secured with the Nexus Core. The Nexus Core is fine! It's just fine. They're a bit demanding, and they really don't like any restrictions, and they try to veto his safety precautions at every turn. And he knows what they do, in the back, in secret. But where else is he going to find an organization as well-versed on the Shade as them? |
