Laz

A distrustful and arrogant dragon that was found in a light ruin unearthed by Luminax' destruction.
They had been turned to stone and physically bound to the ruins as punishment for some crime they committed, but a dragon from the Eclipse Clan accidentally un-petrified them and, despite Laz' several attempts to betray and/or rob them, did not rest until they found a way to remove Laz' chains, even offering them food and water in the meantime.
Once freed, Laz decided to tag along and follow them back to the Clan- but not because they liked them or their kindness meant something to Lazor anything. Nope. Definitely just part of their genius eeevil plan to find more valuable things to steal.
Absolutely no supressed feelings of friendship for the first person that ever showed them kindness to see here!



backstory
-they lived most of their life doing pretty normal things and having normal jobs.
unfortunately, pretty much everyone around them was an a**hole, and so they continued to grow
more hurt and bitter.
-Laz attempted to pick up several hobbies and ways to express themselves throughout their life, but was never actually allowed to do anything their family disapproved of (which was pretty much everything save for work) so all of these attempts were pretty short-lived
-one day, a very important stolen object was found in their belongings and soon the entire town (which was very upset about this significant object disappearing) has branded them as a thief
-in a desperate attempt at gaining some kind of control over their life, they accepted the label forced upon them and from that day on began to present themselves as an arrogant and confident criminal, instead of the shy weakling people used to know them as
-people began hiring them through the black market for various different jobs, and despite not having any crime related skills and not actually committing any sinificant crimes, they still somehow always managed to fulfill their orders
-seriously theyre so bad at being a criminal but since people know them as ~the one that stole smth very important no one ever managed to lay their hands on before~ they just totally look past all their mistakes or misbehaviours
-rumors keep spreading, the city council has their eyes on Laz but cant arrest them since they cant actually prove that they committed any crimes (because Laz didnt commit any but the council doesnt know that and people assume theyre just a genius and amazingly good at not leaving evidence behind, which results in even more rumors)
-one day the council plants some stolen goods in Laz' belongings and uses this to arrest and punish them
(-and once again their life was messed up by forces outside their control)
-their chained and petrified stone body was displayed for all to see for weeks, and then moved into a storage cave where it remained until the town turned into a ruin, and the ruin (and with it, Laz) were found by an Eclipse member
