Biography
- After being turned away from a number of clans, Gemstone arrived at the Wayward Winds feeling useless and purposeless
- Unfortunately Svenn, who was broken up with Glade at the time, was the first to find her and take her in
- He wooed her, made her feel loved and needed—until he found out they had a nest. He abandoned her immediately and Gemstone, in a panic, left the eggs in the wilds beyond the clan territory, hoping some other dragon better suited to parenthood would find them
- Eventually found herself the right friends in Dove, Fabian, and Djinn, who took her in and cared for her
- When Laverit arrived, he was immediately enamored, but Gemstone kept him waiting, wary from her heartbreak with Svenn before
- Over time, she came to trust him, and eventually found real happiness with him
- Came to discover that the jumpy Skydancer-turned-Sandsurge Kuthan, who haunted the fringes of the clan for quite some time, is her last remaining son of the abandoned nest. She has reached out to him on some few occasions, but he has been understandably distant, and she has not pushed the issue.
