He's just trying his best. He wants to make this a better place for his clan. Maybe that's why he started hunting, because he didn't want any hatchling to go hungry like he once did. Maybe it was because he could utalize his extra eyes on the hunt and bring back more than any other hunter could. Maybe just because he was nice and wanted to be useful. Whatever the case, he enjoys being basked in praise that the elders of his clan give him. It makes him feel special. Important. Loved.
