Hades wasn't chosen as leader thanks to his strength, in fact, he's a rather scrawny Veilspun— but he is wickedly cunning and his intellect has helped them thrive in times when brute strength failed. He is also extremely compassionate in all that he does, especially towards the members of his cavern. Hades is well aware of their dark reputation and resents it, often preaching peace and integrity to his peers. He is hoping to better their standing, especially since Persephone's decision to live with him has certainly caused a lot of tension between the caverns.
