Slimy is trained well in the Coliseum but does not partake in hunting or fighting for the clan. Rather, he travels around with his Gladiator friend Orphne, who is also on the board, and they enter themselves into Sornieth's Annual Gladiator Arena (SAGA). Orphne and Slimy train together with the warriors in the Warrior Ruins to train for SAGA every year. Slimy has won plenty of awards from SAGA, usually receiving a Silver or Bronze Honor. He has never won Gold Honor and he would do anything to keep from receiving a Gold Honor if it means not being exalted. Although he exerts a confident aura, in reality, he is cowardly and is too afraid to be exalted or fight on the battlefield despite fighting being his strong suit.

Slimy was chosen as the Ice Representative by Vesper because she views him as confident, but he couldn't be less qualified for the role. Slimy, however, is too afraid too own up to being inadequate and vows to keep his insecurities to himself.
