The Bryonia twins, Alba and Aspera, are one of the easiest dragons on the isles to find due to the dye stained paw-prints that they seem to trail absolutely everywhere. While the mess has gotten on the nerve of a couple of the isles residents, no one seems to be able to quash the twins excitability - let alone get them anywhere near some soap.

Hailing from a small seaside town nestled in the cliffs surrounding the Tsunami Flats, the Bryonia twins were born knowing the smell of salt in the air and the wash of waves over their wings. Used to the ebb and flow that comes with living near the great Tidelord’s domain, the twins adapted well to the isles after sneaking aboard a merchant vessel in order to procure a teacher, for the art of mixing colour from flower, shell, and sand called to the two of them like nothing else. They were taken under the wing of Flanker, a local artist who had just enough experience in the making of dyes and pigments that she could handle the twins many questions, and a stern enough voice to handle the arguing when they disagree on what ratios they need to use to get particularly tricky colours.

While they can never seem to agree on what species of sandwattle makes the best sunset yellow, or if roast wallaby tastes best with mint yogurt or tomato relish, they can both agree that seeing their dyes being put to good use by artisans of every stripe is the best thing ever.
