  • Gifted with the forbidden power of necromancy at birth
  • Was always in service to some underground group or another
  • Met a fellow prisoner of the black market, a peculiar Arcane dragon (then again, when are Arcanites not peculiar)
  • Arcanite offered to help them both escape
  • They both flee to the Windswept Plateau, a busy place where a dragon can disappear
  • Asked if Vynix was willing to do anything to be free from their horrible life
  • Vynix says yes
  • Arcanite steals their magic, which hurts a lot
  • Vynix screams, nearly dying from the pain of having their magic ripped away
  • They become the Arcanite's first victim to survive
  • The Founder finds this magic-less anomaly and offers to study them to help them get their magic back
  • After a while, they discover that they can now become intangible as well as become invisible, not exclusive
