Wraith

*To give context: this lore is inspired by my mistake of pricing this mated pair's dragon with shadow primal eyes as 50 gems in the AH only to be bought and resold for 300 gems the next day. :P I didn't really know the price for primal eyes since I came back to the game a month after a 3-4 year hiatus so I wouldn't know any better, I just thought that the colors fit well and the eyes complimented well with the shadow theme colors, I guess? So, I thought that 50 gems seemed like a reasonable and affordable price for this dragon whom I wanted to go to a good home to since her siblings would be sold at fodder price due to the lack of their rarity. So yeah, a bit of spite here and there, and boom! Here's lore! *o* And no I haven't p'med the reseller since I didn't really felt the need to, since after all this is a game, I have a number of reasons for not doing so like "I don't want to cause unnecessary drama" (plus, who knows when I'll go into hiatus again, so no biggie). Also, I'm not willing to buy back something that I bred at the price offered, which seems a bit dumb. And it was my fault for not really doing my market research on primals, and I have the parents so there's always a chance to sell another primal :P So using all of those negative emotions (at the time) I made this lore! So future primal dragon owner who bought it for 300 gems, I don't care what you make of this, just treat that dragon what you will: exalt, breeding project, whatever! Treat it well like the 300 gems that it was worth and the respect that it deserves (I guess). Just know that dragon has history. And yes I am human so my initial anger was of course from the fact that I could have made more money, but it's subsided *a little* because at the end of the day I wanted that dragon to go to a suitable home and it was better than if it stayed longer with the reseller. Was this extra spiteful? Yes it was, lol. And no I don't want the dragon back, it's yours! If I did I'd just exalt it myself :P And no, this lore bio is in no part supposed to be harassment, just a fun writing project for myself. If I were that spiteful I'd use names.

One of the first ancient dragons of Moonlit Hare, Wraith is a ghostly, and insane Banescale married to an equally insane mate, Banshee. Wraith grew up alongside Banshee, believing that they'll be married and have hatchlings one day as dictated by the many dragons and human trainers in Moonlit Hare. Not knowing much of the world, they never truly ventured out to explore and socialize with other dragons which have left them both close-minded and rather mentally unstable later on in life.

When they finally grew up into dragons, mated, and had eggs something awoke in them - a stifling emotion they couldn't describe as both he and Banshee took care of their eggs for 6 days as per their duty and expectation (which every dragon had told taught them prior). Those couple of days felt both grueling, confusing yet fulfilling at the same time. Both saw a side they've never seen with one another. Banshee grew loving with her eggs, coddling them, and talking to them in such a soft, and warm voice. Wraith was even more surprised during those 6 days as he felt comfort in the simple action of hugging their eggs to keep warm. He had never hugged Banshee before this.

It was these simple actions that made them realize how little they knew about each other, yet Wraith wanted to know more about Banshee. He wanted to see her smile, hear her laugh, tease her, and more. Just how did he treat her when they were young? Wraith knew he treated Banshee with the respect that she deserves, but he knew from the dragons that he grew up within Moonlit Hare that he did not want this respect to turn into indifference. He wanted to truly love and cherish Banshee. Slowly, he'll do it and show his devotion for as long as he lives, and slowly and surely will Banshee also... truly reciprocate his love?

On the 2nd day of tending to their eggs, Wraith felt jealousy for the first time as he saw how much attention Banshee

On the 6th and last day of taking care of their eggs, their eggs didn't hatch at all. Nervous, Wraith and Banshee felt helpless as they didn't really know what to do this caused the couple to go into distress as Banshee screamed and cried
