No-sider, uses her powers for her own benefit

Though Surge and WindGuide have liked to uphold the story that their children use the shade for good, many have used the shade for evil and some have even gone insane with the power they wield.

When starfall first died, claywing was a mess. But the shade promised her it could bring him back, and sure enough it did.

Though despite the shade’s hope to transform her into a monster with a taste of it’s endless power, claywing continues to use the shade with restraint. But that does not mean she is a heroic dragon, for she will use it for whatever she wants.

Though it wouldn’t be the first time Surge and Windguide would need to intervene with their own children, Claywing is too much of an antihero to outright deem a monster in need of termination. Though Claywing has a very aggressive and turbulent relationship to her family, they stand neutral when possible. Hoping to simply not cross paths, though Mountainwing always has the hope that one day Claywing can see that the responsibility of the shade power is too dangerous to handle compared to any dragonborn element.
