Alp

Alp peeked out his head. Did the wind.. Stop? The mute spiral's entire life, a storm raged on around him, but now it had come to a standstill. He hopped out of his floating carrier and the little spiral glided to the ground. The air wasn't blowing, but completely calm. It was completely silent. His parent hadn't woken up yet, so maybe he could explore. He pranced over to where the storm once raged, and walked past it. There was a vast expanse beyond the storm. But he didn't see any other dragons. He must have been the first one to find this land! He proudly stood up straight. Alpville is underway! He giggled at his joke and took to the air. It wasn't hard to fly, because where he lived never had an air current. He hopped around exploring this new place, it was breathtaking. He was happily flying through the air when he spotted a dragon on the ground. He glided down, thinking that his parents had caught him in the act. When he got closer, he didn't even recognize the dragon. He plopped down onto the ground next to this mysterious dragon.
"Oh! Why hello there little dragonet." The dragon said, pure surprise covered her face, "Why are you out here, shouldn't you be at home?"
Alp gave her a dirty look. What was SHE doing in Alpville. He huffed at her and rolled his eyes.
"Why, aren't you a snotty child!" She exclaimed, "You should at least answer an adult. Let's go find your parents, I think they would love to see what they raised."
The dragon picked him up and started to walk off with him. He tried to struggle out of their arms, but had no avail. At this point, he knew his parents would notice he was gone. The sun was high in the sky. The dragon had finally reached a place with a multitude of dragons. There were dozens of them, and none looked very happy. The dragon carrying him looked all over for his parents, but she couldn't find them. After a very long time of being kept in her lair, he eventually escaped he raced back home with tears in his eyes. He missed his family. He then saw something he never wanted to see. The twisting crescendo. He couldn't get back home now. He could never get back to his loving parents.
