As an alchemist, Corona is obsessed with how to transform things for the better. She abides by the rule of Equivalent Exchange: if something must be obtained, something of equal value must be lost. Corona takes pride in her work and rarely shows her research (which is heavily encoded) to anyone, with the exception of Baldwin. Her satchel is a treasured possession and it is always with her. The solid gold encasing her wings and parts of her body are a result of an experiment gone wrong. When she was a fledgling alchemist, Corona formulated a way to transmute items to gold. In her youthful hubris, she ignored the risks of messing with the taboo. Unfortunately, when mixing the materials, the ooze exploded and splattered all over her. Within seconds, the affected areas turned to gold and left Corona forever changed. To this day, she considers the transmutation a success with an elated (and devious) smile.

Bogsneak Mutagen Arc

Corona was shocked when she arrived at Baldwin's to find her mentor had undergone a drastic metamorphosis. Puzzled, her mind overloads with questions and fuels a desire to study the mutagen. Her clan is wary about her new obsession, cautiously eyeing the bubbling beakers and numerous note-filled tomes gradually overtaking her lair. Corona has also been looking at her mate differently...
