She was bought by Rachel to be a protector of the clan, small and perched upon a shelf outside Rachel and Raphael's private quarters. Brainwashed and manipulated by Rachel, she is too far into the Skydancer matron's intoxicating influence to realize she is being played like a puppet, posed like the dolls she is descended from. Too deep into the crimson queen's web of lies to understand that she is being used. For this reason, she is mistrustful of the other members of the clan, especially those who have begun to escape Rachel's sphere of influence, those who might tell her the truth. Because she has been trained since birth to guard, to bond, and to fight, she does, she protects Rachel and the clan, becomes a pint-sized enforcer because it's all she knows, all she can do.
