Biography

Lore

The Grove is a sacred place. It is the home of many nature elementals, fae, and the pilgrims that travel near and far to place their wishes upon the great Banyan Tree set within the midst of the forest. Few, however, call the Wishing Tree their home. Cern is one of those few. He, along with Eyiel and Io, have taken it upon themselves to be the guardians and caretakers of the Wishing Tree.

Cern is a gentle soul by nature, opting to try and hash things out through talks rather than violence. However, don't let his soft nature fool you. If he needs to defend himself or the Wishing Tree he will do so. Being a druid he can easily commune with nature, willing the plants and animals around him to help aide him during tough situations. Violence usually is not something that ever happens within the grove due to the areas soothing atmosphere, so Cern has ever rarely been seen in battle. Usually, the quiet giant can be found tending to his natural gardens and communing with the forest animals that seem to be drawn to him.

He is also adept in potion making, especially healing poultices. Using medicinal plants to his advantage, Cern has been known to offer his wears to travelers and pilgrims who make the treacherous trek to the Wishing Tree. Usually his potions are free of any charge, though sometimes people just won't allow that. Treasure and gold have very little value to him, and so he has a small hoard of gleaming goodies in his hut that he has absolutely no idea what to do with. His favorite gifts though have been exotic plants, runestones, and small hand-crafted animals made of various materials that he has displayed on several shelves within his home.
