While far from a giant among Guardians, Shadowglory makes up for her scrawny frame with the speed and technique she learned from her mother. Although adolescent resentment at her warrior parents’ dominance in her life once had its outlet in picking fights above her weight class, unwisely copying her father’s belligerent attitude, she has grown into a confident, self-reliant young adult since the Compact’s arrival in their new lair by the sea. The strange new environment beneath the waves was full of creatures to discover, weird foods to try, and challenges her parents hadn’t overcome long before she hatched. Now she spends much of her time in exploring and mastering her chosen habitat, surfacing only to collect supplies she cannot forage from the sea and to report on maritime defense and harvesting issues to the Council.
